The house has been renovated and now it's time for the garden.
To get your bearings for the most major transformation, note the brown wood above the white door, as the focal point.
With our design approved, and the levels worked out, it's time to turn this into a "FORMAL GARDEN".
So we go from what is just a building site, with rough grass to this next...
The "brown wood focal point" has now been painted white!
We created this all In-House...we designed it, we built it and then we planted it.
One year later.
"ABOUT US & FAQ's"...we offer a "ONE-STOP" Service. We designed this and all our own staff, built and planted it.
Our OWN staff and PARTNERS cover the UK creating specialist gardens, as well as water gardens, from various branches and bases....on this page you will find projects in Scotland, Oxford, Wales, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Wiltshire, Yorkshire, Berkshire, Cotswolds, Worcestershire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, West Midlands, Surrey, Lancashire, Lake District Cambridgeshire, Bath, Bristol, Devon and Hampshire.
What you see now, was a wilderness of overgrown native Rhododendrons, which we cleared and terraced to create this beautiful garden.
One a lawn now a...Reflective Rill
Next a different type of Rill...
We start the system with an infinity style header pond with absolutely perfect levels, gently overflowing into the rills, down a series of stepped falls towards, but not into, the Thames!
Abstract Formal Pond with a slate waterfall...looking a little naked until the roses grow around it!
Designed to be reflective therefore...perfectly calm and peaceful.
A Reflective Rill, this time in the COTSWOLDS.
We created this in the depths of winter from nothing, looking back the otherway
IF YOU'VE GOT A SMALL GARDEN...don't be put off by the scale of these first projects: we like to say "MAJOR PROJECTS WITH EASE...SMALLER GARDENS WITH PLEASURE"!
The faint stringline you can see represents one side of the Rill.
In the distance builders are preparing to lay foundations for a Summerhouse.
We created everything else.
The centre feature is a "Splash Pool". We designed and built it so that water would pour out of it in both directions.
Both of the Rills flow (unseen, with a clever bit of illusion and a lot of technical know how) into a hidden chamber, before being returned to the centre feature to be recirculated.
The client wanted his Grandchildren to be able to splash and run in the Rill, so we lined the Rill and spread non-slip resin bonded gravel in the base of it!
As with all of our features no liner is left visible to spoil the effect.

BRISTOL...Here's a very LARGE FORMAL POOL, still being filled, until the water level is just below the natural stone paving.
The liner has been disguised with natural stone, a very big job, but using our fool-proof methods it's guaranteed not to leak for 45 years.
Edged with what will be an avenue of pleached Hornbeams, designed and planted to focus your attention, even more, to the water surface between.
This feature and the garden it sits in was been designed to be viewed from the house, not from this direction.
